Downloadable documents for those interested in design, specification and quality control procedures are:
- A description of the (UK) Environment Agency's cylinder test method. This is a laboratory test which closely simulates the conditions at the base of a landfill. GEOfabrics has three test units and considerable experience gained from 1000's of hours of testing with all types of drainage stone.
- A table of cylinder test results which give an estimate of the type of geotextile which will just pass the cylinder test and therefore provide the most cost-effective design solution. This means that you can place realistic performance specifications in your specification.
- Data sheets for the complete range of GEOfabrics' products. These are in form of single product sheets and in a group table so that they can be easily compared.
- Test reports from our own UKAS accredited laboratory. Site-specific tests using actual field materials as proof statements for a submission to the Environment Agency e.g. leachate immersion tests, transmission flows in composites in soil and under load.
- Useful references to other published reports e.g. interface friction.
- Model specifications which can be incorporated into project documents. These are based on the most up-to-date test methods and feature achievable, relevant performance figures.
- Relevant case studies which deal with problems/solutions that could be similar to your own plus a list of selected projects ordered by geograhical location.
