Friesland track ballast renewal The Spitze ballast-cleaning train is used extensively to deal with contaminated ballast. Running at 3m/s, the train lifts a length of the track, extracts, washes and re-places the ballast.

The HP and MP ranges of geotextiles are highly durable and extensible which means that they are ideal for resisting puncture by angular stone. Applications include landfill engineering, the remediation of contaminated land, coastal/river works and railways.
