Contaminated incinerator ash was proposed as a cost-effective fill for a hardstanding area which would be trafficked by wastes vehicles. The barrier system would have to resist puncture from the contaminated fill (with clinker inclusions) and collect evolved gases. Protexia GPT5 provided the solution - liner protection & gas venting as a single product.
